The Parador-Hotel of Jarandilla de la Vera used to be the Royal Residence of Charles the I of Spain in XVI Century when He abdicated from the Throne. Likewise, was the “Yuste Monastery” nearby. So after visiting both places on our way to Plasencia we stopped near the Parador in Restaurant ” El Descanso del Emperador”. We all had a great lunch and some tried the tipical local dish “Migas extremeñas”. Price was low, but good dishes and tasty.
