aranjuezgooglegratisipicc5aranjuezgooglegratisipicc4Small Town lying 42 kms south of Madrid, bordering Chinchón and Toledo  Province. The Tagus & Jarama rivers water its strawberries, melons and Sparragus well known valley. It is a Historical Royal Site which was used for their Vacation and leisure time. The Explendid XVI century Royal Palace on the banks of the Tagus river were built by Philip II in 1561, previously  were built  by his father Charles the I the Huge beautiful Prince´s Gardens nearby in 1540.
In 2001 Aranjuez as a whole was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
After many visits to this location I would recommend to visit the Prince´s Gardens together with “Cortijo San Isidro” first. Then go to visit the inside of the Royal Palace and its gardens. Afterwards one should walk around the buildings of the Royal Palace Service-workers. Close by are quite a few good restaurants which one should have a look at as going along before choosing the right one for lunch.
Last but not least, as we go on our way back home we should make a stop at the local small, but Beautiful train station. Once back in the car one should listen to the famous guitar Composition” El Concierto de Aranjuez”
